Knarr connects directly to multiple different types of data sources, like MailChimp and Google Analytics, but what if you need to load data that Knarr doesn't support directly?
First, we'd like to encourage you to post the connection you need under the Ideas Topic in our Community, this way we can see what types of connections you want us to include in a future release. However, we won't always be able to get to adding these connectors, so in the event that we haven't yet added the connector you need, there are a few ways you can still get your data into Knarr.
The quickest way is to export your data to a CSV and upload that CSV into Knarr, but that can be challenging to keep updated.
Zapier or Tray.io
Zapier and Tray.io are great tools for easily moving data between platforms. You can connect to almost any tool you have and set up a "zap" to move new data into Google Sheets or Excel Online, either of which can be connected to directly within Knarr.
Dropbox / Google Drive + CSV
A third alternative is to set an export of your data to a Dropbox or Google Drive location in CSV format. You can use Zapier or Tray.io to accomplish this, or many tools have the capability to export directly to CSV, and some even allow a schedule. Keep in mind that storage limits on Knarr do not count for files hosted in Dropbox or Google Drive, so your CSVs can be as large as they need to be.
If you have other ideas on how to access data with Knarr, post them up in our community and let us know what we can do to make your data exploration experience better!
